How to Read Hotel Reviews Wisely
Hotel reviews can help you understand what a stay might be like, but it is important to read them carefully.
Start with recent reviews, since hotel facilities and services can change over time. Look for repeated comments about cleanliness, staff, noise, room size, and location rather than focusing on one unusually positive or negative review.
Pay attention to reviews from travelers with needs similar to yours. A family may have different priorities from a solo business traveler.
Check whether reviewers describe specific experiences instead of making general statements. Also consider how the hotel responds to complaints.
Reviews are useful sources of information, but they cannot guarantee your own experience. Combine them with the hotel's facilities, location, room details, and cancellation policy before booking.
