Understanding Different Hotel Room Types
Hotel room names can vary, so it is worth checking exactly what is included before you book.
A single room is generally intended for one guest, while a double room usually has a double bed. A twin room commonly has two separate beds. However, room names and layouts can differ between properties.
Family rooms may offer additional sleeping space, while suites usually include a larger living area or separate rooms. Some hotels also offer connecting rooms for guests who want separate spaces with convenient access.
Always check the maximum occupancy, bed configuration, room size, and listed facilities. Photos can help, but the written room description is important too.
If a particular bed arrangement or accessibility feature is essential, contact the hotel to confirm it before booking.
